Below are some of the Most commonly asked questions and their answers. If there are any further questions please do not hesitate to get in contact and we will gladly assist.
Delivery:
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to dispatch orders within two business days of receiving payment. For example, if you order and pay on Tuesday, we'll aim to ship it by Thursday. Once dispatched, delivery can be expected between 2-3 business days for major centers. For outlying areas, please allow a further 2-5 business days depending.
How much will delivery cost?
Delivery is free for all orders over R1000. For orders under R1000 delivery will be charged at R95 (Ex VAT) or alternatively you can collect your order at our warehouse in Cape Town.
Do you deliver anywhere in South Africa?
Unfortunately not. Due to the significantly higher associated fees and logistical complexities, we are currently unable to provide delivery services to the following types of locations:
- Farms
- Major Chain Stores
- Hospitals
- Power Stations
For deliveries intended for these locations, please arrange for an alternative delivery address, such as a residential or business address outside of these exclusion zones. Alternatively, please feel free to contact us directly for a custom quote to arrange delivery to these specific addresses.

Do you deliver outside of South Africa?
Yes, but only by special request. If you are outside of South Africa and want us to deliver to you then please get in contact at hello@hestiahome.co.za and we will gladly send you a quotation for the cost of delivery. Unfortunately because of the varied nature of International delivery costs our advertised rates or free delivery thresholds are only Valid for deliveries within South Africa.
Can I specify a delivery time?
No, the couriers we use do not currently offer delivery slots. Please make sure that the address you supply, will have someone there to accept your parcel.
Returns:
Can I return my order if I have changed my mind?
Yes, you can request a return within 30 days from delivery provided your product is undamaged and unused, in it's original and undamaged packaging, all parts and accessories are accounted for, and all seals and labels are intact. Due to the safety aspect of the products, we do not accept returns of any products of which the seal has been opened and where packaging has been removed, opened or tampered with. Please note that the 30 day period does not apply to sale items.
Will I be charged a delivery fee for returns or exchanges?
Yes, the courier costs involved will not be refunded. We will obtain a quote at the most affordable rate possible.
How can I guarantee a refund?
Your claim must be made within 30 days of delivery AND returned items must in their original and undamaged packaging, unused and fit for resale.
When will I receive my refund?
Once goods are collected, checked, and deemed fit for resale, your refund will be processed via EFT. This will take up to 5 business days to process.
What products cannot be returned for a cash refund?
Sale items cannot be returned for a cash refund. We will be able to offer an in-store credit. This is on the provision that the product s still sealed, has not been opened, and packaging has not been removed, opened or tampered with.
